About Meshi AI
Free 3D Modeling for Everyone

Meshi AI is a free, browser-based 3D model generator that turns a photo or a sentence into a textured mesh in about 60 seconds. No install, no account, no card.

Why we built it

3D modeling has a brutal first mile. Before you make anything worth looking at, you install a multi-gigabyte package, learn a viewport, learn edge loops, learn UV unwrapping, and learn what a normal map is. Plenty of people who need one specific object never get past that. A teacher wants a labelled heart. A maker wants a replacement knob for a broken appliance. A solo game dev wants forty crates that do not all look identical. None of that justifies a month of tutorials. We built Meshi AI so the distance between having an idea and holding a mesh is a photograph and a minute of waiting.

How it works

You give the system one of two inputs: an image, or a line of text. Image to 3D reads silhouette, shading and material cues from your upload, infers the geometry you cannot see, and rebuilds the object as a closed surface. Text to 3D goes straight from the description. Either way the work runs on cloud GPUs, takes roughly 60 seconds, and returns a mesh of up to 600K faces with PBR maps baked in: diffuse, roughness, metallic and normal. A browser viewer lets you spin it before you commit. Export lands as FBX, OBJ, GLB or STL, and the geometry is manifold and watertight, so slicers accept it without a repair step.

What we believe

Tools that ask for a signup before showing you anything waste your time and ours. You should be able to land here, upload a photo and judge the output for yourself inside two minutes. That is why there is no account, no credit card and no email capture in front of the generator. Rate limits do the job instead: three 3D generations and five image generations per hour, per visitor, which is enough to test the tool honestly and cheap enough for us to keep offering. We also think you should own what you make. What you generate is yours, including commercially. We do not sell your uploads.

Where it goes next

The generator started with image to 3D and text to 3D. It now also retextures meshes you bring yourself, auto-rigs and animates humanoid and creature models, makes reference art when you have nothing to upload, and takes instructions conversationally through the 3D agent. The pattern we keep following is simple: whenever a step forces you into another program just to finish a model, that step is a candidate. Higher-fidelity geometry, cleaner topology and better control over poly budget are the things we hear about most, and they are the things we work on. The showcase gallery is the honest scoreboard for how it is going.

The fastest way to understand the tool is to feed it something. Pick an object nearby, upload a picture, and judge the mesh yourself.
